More than ever, leaders must comprehend, lead, and direct people in order to create and maintain a culture that is conducive to employee wellness, productivity, and company success. All of these leadership acts are built on coaching conversations. Many leaders may find it difficult to have these conversations or may not fully grasp the function of coaching as a leadership tool.Leader as Coach is designed to equip leaders with the knowledge, tools, techniques and frameworks to facilitate effective coaching in leadership.
Participants of this program will be able to:
Understand the importance of coaching for their position within the company
Develop a coaching mindset
Learn and apply tools for effective coaching
Gain insight and feedback on their own emotional intelligence
Learn and apply core communication skills
Be able to adapt their strategy to the circumstances
Have learned and used a framework for effective coaching conversations
Plan and practice coaching in prep for on-the-job application
Each module includes exercises, tools, and content that is both practical and inspirational. You will interact with competent facilitators who foster emotional intelligence daily for teams and individuals while learning alongside your peer cohort.
Upskill: Post each module, you will have the opportunity to apply the tools and techniques at work and outside of it to help improve how you connect, communicate and influence others.
Added value: Participants will have the option to complete a Genos Emotionally Intelligent Leadership Assessment provided during the program to kick start and support emotional intelligence development.
